Is duohack.com a scam?

This looks like a scam.

Game currency generator that ends in an offer wall

This site promises free coins and gems for hundreds of mobile games, asks for your in-game username or email, shows a message that it is hacking the mainframe, and then sends you to a page that says to complete an offer to prove you are human. Its success rate and its feed of live claims are set by the page's own code, so do not complete any offer to get the free resources.

Jacana would have flagged this before you got here.

Reasons for concern

  • Verify button leads to an offer wall

On its game pages, the Verify Now button goes through a tracking link to a page that says to complete one offer to verify yourself as human and receive the resources.

  • Sends what you type to its server

The game page's script posts the username or email you type to a form handler on the site. Its privacy page says it only asks for these to connect to the game.

  • Success figures written into the page

Its headline success rate is a fixed figure written into the page, and its live claims feed picks names at random from a list stored in the page.

  • Names no company

Its about, privacy and terms pages name only DuoHack, with no company, street address or contact details.
