Report to Disney+
Last updated September 18, 2026
The short answer
Handle fake Disney+ billing emails and secure the account
Disney+ is clear about what it will never do, and that is the most useful thing on the page. It will never contact you by social media, email, text or phone asking for payment or account details. So any message that does is fake by definition.
What they handle
- Emails and texts claiming to be Disney+
- Calls from someone claiming to be Disney+ support
- Requests for your password or billing details
- Accounts accessed after credentials were entered on a fake page
How to file a report
- 1
Do not respond
Disney's instruction for a message or call asking you to give up personal information or account details is not to respond to it.
- 2
Secure the account yourself
Go to my.disney.com directly and reset your password. Disney names this as the step to take if you are in any doubt.
- 3
Contact Disney+ support through the app or site
Disney+ support is available by chat, phone and social media. Reach it from help.disneyplus.com rather than from a number in the message.
- 4
Know what Disney never asks for
Disney will never ask for your full card number, bank account details or your password by phone or in chat. Any of those asks is the scam.
What you'll need
- The message and the address or number it came from
- The Disney account email, if the account itself was accessed
- The card charged, if a payment went through
What to expect
Disney+ does not publish a phishing intake address, so the value here is securing the account rather than filing a report. A charge already made goes to your bank.
Frequently asked questions
Disney+ called me about my subscription. Was that real?
No. Disney+ says it will never reach out by phone asking for payment or private account information. Hang up and check your account at my.disney.com.
