Report to Zoom

Last updated September 18, 2026

The short answer

Report Zoom scams and abuse through the Trust and Safety form

Zoom takes scam and abuse reports through a Trust and Safety web form. The scam to know is the meeting link that is not a Zoom link. It takes you to a lookalike page that asks you to download something to join, and that download is the payload.

What they handle

  • Spam, scams and abusive behaviour on Zoom
  • Fake meeting invites pointing at lookalike domains
  • Fake payment alerts claiming to be from Zoom
  • Fraud or abuse by an app in the Zoom marketplace

How to file a report

  1. 1

Use the Trust and Safety form

Zoom asks you to report spam, scams and abusive behaviour to its Trust and Safety team through the form at zoom.us/trust-form.

  2. 2

Hover the link before you join

Reported fakes have used addresses like meetingszx.com. If the link is not a Zoom address, do not open it.

  3. 3

Never install anything to join a meeting

A genuine meeting opens in the Zoom client or your browser. A page asking you to download a file first is installing a fake application.

  4. 4

Check the sender on any account email

Zoom account notifications come from no-reply@zoom.us. A payment alert from anywhere else, especially one with a phone number to call, is a scam.

What you'll need

  • The meeting link or email, unclicked
  • The sender address
  • The phone number the message told you to call

What to expect

The form reaches Trust and Safety rather than support. If you installed anything, treat the device as compromised and change passwords from a different one.

Frequently asked questions

I got a Zoom email about a $1,099 charge I never made. Is it real?

Almost certainly not. That is a standard fake payment alert. The goal is the phone number in it, not the charge. Check your own account and card statement instead of calling.
