Report to Walgreens

Last updated September 18, 2026

The short answer

Where Walgreens sends phishing reports, and the recruitment scam address

Walgreens does not run its own phishing mailbox for shoppers. It points to the industry and government channels instead. It does keep a dedicated address for one thing: someone using the Walgreens name to run a fake job offer.

What they handle

  • Emails and texts misusing the Walgreens name or logo
  • Fake survey and prize offers
  • Fake Walgreens recruitment and job offers
  • Requests for card numbers or Social Security numbers

How to file a report

  1. 1

Forward it to the Anti-Phishing Working Group

Walgreens points to reportphishing@apwg.org for suspected phishing email.

  2. 2

File with the FCC and your local police

Walgreens gives the FCC on 1-888-225-5322 or online, and asks you to file a report with your local police department.

  3. 3

Use the careers address for a job scam

First check whether the posting exists on the Walgreens site. If it does not, email corporate.careers@walgreens.com to report the approach.

  4. 4

Know what Walgreens never asks for

It does not email asking for your credit card number, Social Security number or other personally identifying information. Any such request is not from Walgreens.

What you'll need

  • The email and its sender address
  • The job posting or recruiter details, for a job scam
  • Anything you already sent them

What to expect

APWG and the FCC build the case rather than resolving yours. Walgreens itself acts on brand misuse and on fake recruitment using its name.

Frequently asked questions

A recruiter offered me a Walgreens job by text. Is that how they hire?

Check the posting on the Walgreens site first. Walgreens keeps corporate.careers@walgreens.com specifically because people use its name for fake job offers.
