Report to Temu
Last updated September 18, 2026
The short answer
Send fake Temu emails to reportphishing@temu.com and check the sender domain
Temu takes phishing at reportphishing@temu.com and publishes the full list of domains it actually sends from, which makes checking a message quick. One rule settles most of them. A real Temu email never asks for your Social Security or Taxpayer ID number.
What they handle
- Emails and texts pretending to be Temu
- Fake sites made to look like temu.com
- Messages asking for your Temu login or tax ID
- Suspicious sellers and listings on Temu
How to file a report
- 1
Do not open the attachment
Temu's instruction for an email with attachments claiming to be from Temu is not to open them.
- 2
Forward it to reportphishing@temu.com
Send it on to that address, preferably as an attachment rather than a plain forward.
- 3
Check the sending domain
Temu sends only from temu.com, temuemail.com, temumail.com, temuofficial.com, temufavor.com, usa.temu.com and emea.temu.com. Anything else is fraudulent.
- 4
Report a seller or listing in the app
Suspicious activity on Temu itself goes through the Report Something Suspicious flow in the support centre rather than the phishing mailbox.
What you'll need
- The email, kept intact as an attachment
- The sending address
- The order number and amount, if a payment is involved
What to expect
reportphishing@temu.com is intake. Temu can act on a fake site and a bad seller. A card payment is recovered through your bank.
Frequently asked questions
A Temu email asked for my tax ID for a refund. Is that normal?
No. Temu states its official emails do not ask for a Social Security number or Taxpayer Identification Number. That request alone makes it fake.
