Report to StubHub

The short answer
Report StubHub problems through support, and what FanProtect actually covers
The distinction that matters with StubHub is where you bought. An order placed on StubHub is covered by the FanProtect Guarantee. A ticket bought from someone who merely mentioned StubHub is covered by nothing at all.
What they handle
- Tickets that turn out to be invalid or never arrive
- Sellers listing tickets they do not hold
- Suspicious emails claiming to be StubHub
- Someone using your card to buy tickets on StubHub
How to file a report
- 1
Contact StubHub support about the order
Raise it through StubHub customer support with the order details. StubHub keeps help articles for suspicious emails and for someone using your card on the site.
- 2
Rely on FanProtect for orders placed on StubHub
Every order is backed by FanProtect. If there is a problem, StubHub says it will make it right with comparable or better tickets, or your money back.
- 3
Know how a seller problem is resolved
Seller policies require valid tickets and accurate information. If a seller breaks them, StubHub obtains the correct tickets or offers replacements or a refund, and can charge or suspend that account.
- 4
Treat a screenshot as worthless
The common scam is a screenshot of a ticket and payment through a peer-to-peer app, after which the seller disappears. Nothing about that is covered.
What you'll need
- The StubHub order number
- The event, date and seat details
- How you paid, if the deal was off-platform
What to expect
An order on StubHub is resolved under FanProtect. A payment sent through a peer-to-peer app to a stranger is a bank matter, and those apps offer no buyer protection.
Frequently asked questions
Someone on social media is selling StubHub tickets cheaper. Is FanProtect involved?
No. FanProtect covers orders placed on StubHub. A private sale that merely mentions StubHub has no guarantee attached, whatever the seller says.
