Report to Roblox
Last updated September 18, 2026
The short answer
Use the Report Abuse buttons, and never log in away from roblox.com
Roblox scams work on children, and they nearly all end at a fake login page. Report Abuse buttons sit across the site and the apps. The single rule that prevents most of it is to only ever type a Roblox password on roblox.com or in the official app.
What they handle
- Trading scams and fake Robux offers
- Users asking for login details
- Links off the platform to fake login pages
- Hacked and compromised accounts
How to file a report
- 1
Use Report Abuse
The Report Abuse buttons are found across the site and in games. Roblox asks you to use them for anyone who is scamming.
- 2
Report off-platform links as spam
Roblox says to treat a link encouraging you to click through somewhere else as spam or an attempt to take your personal information. Do not click it, report the user.
- 3
Never share login details
If anyone asks for your login information, do not give it and report them to the moderators. No Roblox staff member or game needs it.
- 4
Check where you are typing your password
Only enter login details on the official roblox.com site or the login screen of the official apps. Roblox has warned about fake "Security Alert" and "Reset Password" pages.
What you'll need
- The username of the account that contacted you
- Screenshots of the chat or trade
- The link you were sent, without clicking it
What to expect
Moderators act on the account. Robux and items lost in a trade scam are generally not restored, which is why the login rule matters more than the report.
Frequently asked questions
Someone promised free Robux for signing in on their site. Is any of that real?
No. There is no site that generates Robux. The page exists to capture the login, and the account is taken over within minutes of you typing it.
