Report to Robinhood

Last updated September 18, 2026

The short answer

Send Robinhood phishing to reportphishing@robinhood.com, and freeze a compromised account

Robinhood keeps a phishing address and is specific about what to send with each kind of report. A compromised account is a different and more urgent job, because the account can be frozen while it is sorted out.

What they handle

  • Phishing by email, text, phone call, website or social media
  • Scams targeting Robinhood Wallet
  • Compromised Robinhood accounts
  • People impersonating Robinhood support

How to file a report

  1. 1

    Send it to reportphishing@robinhood.com

Use that address only for suspected phishing. Robinhood says you will not get a response from the team.

  2. 2

Include the right detail for the channel

For an email, include the full headers. For a text, screenshot it and include the number that contacted you. For a call, include the number and as much detail as you can.

  3. 3

Freeze the account if it is compromised

Contact Robinhood Support immediately to freeze it. If you cannot get into the account at all, email support@robinhood.com.

  4. 4

Remember what Robinhood never asks for

It will never ask for your login details, and never for the secret recovery phrase for Robinhood Wallet. Anyone who does is taking the account.

What you'll need

  • Full email headers, or a screenshot and the sending number
  • The phone number that called you
  • The date and detail of any trade or transfer you did not make

What to expect

The phishing mailbox is intake and gives no reply. Freezing the account is the action that protects the money, and that goes through Support rather than the mailbox.

Frequently asked questions

Someone from Robinhood support asked for my recovery phrase. Was that them?

No. Robinhood states it never asks for your secret recovery phrase. Anyone with that phrase owns the wallet outright, and no support process needs it.
