The short answer

Progressive checks suspicious emails for you at phishing@email.progressive.com

Progressive runs three separate addresses, and one of them is unusually useful. Forward an email you are unsure about to phishing@email.progressive.com and Progressive will tell you whether it really sent it.

What they handle

  • Emails claiming to be Progressive
  • Claims and insurance fraud
  • Identity theft involving a Progressive policy
  • Fake Progressive recruiters and job offers

How to file a report

Use the security address for a product issue

A security issue in a Progressive product or service goes to securityconcern@email.progressive.com, which is a different team from fraud.

  4. 4

Check any job offer against the careers site

Progressive has flagged employment scams where someone poses as a Progressive employee or recruiter to take money or information.
