How to file a report

    Use the chat to lock the account

    Click the chat icon at the bottom right of the support page to notify Kraken of suspicious activity so it can lock your account.

    Change both passwords

    Change the password on your Kraken account and on the email address attached to it. The email is usually the real target.

    Submit the report

    Use the Report a scam form, or the Report Suspicious Activity option on a support request. Kraken's security team responds by email and helps secure your email, devices and account.

    Check the domain and the sign-in address

    Kraken email always ends in @kraken.com, including subdomains like @email.kraken.com. The real sign-in page is id.kraken.com/sign-in.

What to expect

Kraken can lock the account, which is what stops further loss. Crypto already withdrawn to an outside address cannot be pulled back.
