Report to Epic Games

The short answer
Report Fortnite and Epic scams through the misconduct form
Epic Games scams run on free V-Bucks and on fake login pages, and they mostly target children. Reports go through the reporting misconduct form on Epic's safety site. Two rules stop nearly all of it.
What they handle
- Free V-Bucks and free game offers from unofficial sources
- Fake Epic Games login pages
- Emails claiming to be Epic from non-Epic domains
- Scams run by creators or developers
How to file a report
- 1
Use the reporting misconduct form
Epic takes reports of content that is illegal or breaks its Community Rules through a form on its safety site. There is a Fortnite option for in-game reports.
- 2
Check the sender domain on any email
Epic says to check the sender's email domain on anything claiming to be from Epic Games. If it comes from a different domain, do not engage with it.
- 3
Ignore every free V-Bucks offer
Epic states that real offers appear only on the Epic Games Store, official Epic websites, or verified Epic social accounts. Nothing else is genuine.
- 4
Contact support if the account is gone
Epic support can help with a compromised account. Submit a support request rather than trusting any recovery service that contacts you.
What you'll need
- The Epic display name of the account involved
- Screenshots of the offer or conversation
- The site you entered login details on, if you did
What to expect
Epic acts on the account and the content. V-Bucks and items are generally not restored, so the login rule matters more than the report does.
Frequently asked questions
Epic emailed asking to confirm my password. Was it them?
No. Epic Games states it will never ask you for your password. Any message that does is a fake, whatever the address looks like at a glance.
