Report to AliExpress
Last updated September 18, 2026
The short answer
Report an AliExpress seller from the order, with evidence attached
AliExpress reporting starts in your order history, not in a support inbox. The rule that decides whether you get your money back is simple. Buyer Protection covers payments made on AliExpress, and nothing else.
What they handle
- Items that never arrive or are not as described
- Sellers pushing you to pay outside AliExpress
- Fake listings and counterfeit goods
- Phishing emails, texts and sites imitating AliExpress
How to file a report
- 1
Use Report a Problem on the order
Go to your order history and report it from there, attaching evidence such as photos, the messages and screenshots of the listing.
- 2
Report any request to pay off-platform
A seller pushing you to WhatsApp, Telegram or a direct bank transfer should be reported immediately. A payment that bypasses AliExpress is not protected by AliExpress.
- 3
Tell customer support about a phishing attempt
If you fell for a fake AliExpress page, notify customer support so they can secure your account and warn others.
- 4
Open a dispute for the refund
AliExpress runs a dispute process for orders covered by Buyer Protection, which is the route to a refund rather than just a report.
What you'll need
- The order number
- Photos of what arrived, and the listing screenshots
- The full message thread with the seller
What to expect
AliExpress investigates and may refund you and suspend the seller. That only applies to a payment made on the platform, which is why the off-platform request is the moment to walk away.
Frequently asked questions
The seller offered a discount for paying by bank transfer. Worth it?
No. That single step removes Buyer Protection entirely, which is the only reason the discount is offered. AliExpress asks you to report the seller for it.

AliExpress scams
Knowing which scam you were hit by makes the report better. This is how scams impersonating AliExpress actually work, what the company will never ask you for, and the warning signs to recognise next time.
