Is app-jobz.com a scam?

This looks like a scam.

Job offer site that pays in sign-up bonuses

This site advertises paid live chat and app testing jobs, but its own small print says the rewards come as sign-up bonuses from other websites, and it calls itself an affiliate site. Its sign-up steps announce that your job application is approved and then say you must finish a sponsored step on a phone, so do not install apps or pay for any training to get this job.

Reasons for concern

  • Pay comes from sign-up bonuses, not wages

Its home page offers live chat jobs paid by the hour, and its app tester page offers a cash reward per task. The same page says all rewards are bonuses from other websites for signing up.

  • Requires a sponsored step to continue

A later page says all new users must complete a sponsored verification to continue and must do it on a mobile device. Its buttons lead to an app verification site and to an outside sales page.

  • Says your application is approved

One of its sign-up pages says your job application has been approved, then asks you to pick full or part time.

  • Calls itself an affiliate site

Its affiliate page says the site is an affiliate site promoting affiliate products and is paid when visitors buy what it recommends.
